I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology from the University of Naples Federico II in Italy, followed by an MSc in Reproductive Medicine and a PhD in Genetics from the University of Kent in the UK. As a full member of the Association of Embryo Technology in Europe (AETE) and the Genetics Society, I am deeply committed to advancing our understanding of embryo production and genetic testing techniques.
My research primarily focuses on mammalian embryology, with a particular emphasis on developing efficient strategies for farm animal embryo production. I am dedicated to improving in vitro maturation (IVM) methods to obtain high-quality embryos from young donors. Additionally, I am exploring the application of preimplantation genetic testing in farm animal embryo production systems, which can greatly benefit breeders by allowing the selection of desirable embryos and the removal of those affected by chromosomal disorders.
